Here are she and Jackson at the Fun Run:
Here's Juliann on her last day of school after awards day. Their class sang Katy Perry's, "Eye of the Tiger" and had a little dance that went along with the words. It was adorable. Juliann still practices it at home and improves upon it in her own little ways.
Here's Juliann's art piece that made it to the school's art show. She was the only kindergartener that had a piece in the show. We're so proud.
Juje got four medals- for Music, Art, Citizenship and Kindergarten Completion. She was the only one in her class to get all four medals. She got a special award from her classroom called the Almond Joy award, for spreading joy to others.
Her class wrote in individuals journals almost every day of the year. It was fun to look back through her journal and see how she's improved and changed during one short school year. Here's a sample from the beginning of the year:
And here's one from the end:
We couldn't be prouder of our sweet girl. She worked so hard and learned so much! She made vast improvements in her reading and writing. Her favorite subject is math and her favorite special to go to is P.E. She was sad for school to end because she misses her teachers and all her friends. She is very social and got caught up in a lot of the drama of her kindergarten class. She was friends with everyone in her class and would come home with lots of stories about what happened on at recess or at P.E. that day. She even had a little boy ask her to marry her and give her a little ring! We're not too sure we're ready for that yet...
Way to go Juje! One year in the books.
