Christmas

Christmas this year was a blast! We thought it was fun last year, but oh man, it is a hundred times better when your kid sort of gets what's going on. We had planned on spending it here in Oregon with Doug's family, but a couple weeks before Christmas, we got an email about a really great sale on plane tickets to Atlanta and jumped at the chance. Juliann did amazingly well on the flight there. The flight back was a different story, but still totally worth the trip. Here are way too many pictures of our adventure in no particular order.

Christmas preparations at our little place.

Juliann and her new Christmas bike

Becoming reaquainted with the aunties and Grammy. (Sorry Megan, I obviously caught you off guard in this pic. :)

Chowing down on sugar cookies in the baby doll stroller

Feeding the cows with Gramps

Hanging out with the "bawk bawks" (chickens)

Frosting cookies with my brother Ryan who was baptized while we were there.
Juliann in her absolute favorite spot on the planet. She still asks about this swing all the time.
No explanation needed.
Outside fun
Showing the fam our new favorite Youtube movies. Kid History 1 and Kid History 2.
Juliann and her wonderful Aunt Kaylyn. These two made an instant connection. It's fair to say that Aunt Kaylyn is definitely one of Juliann's favorite people.

First white Christmas we'd had since 1882!
The adorable bunny GG (Great Gramma) made for Juliann.

And one last picture, mostly for my sisters who want to see me. (Try to ignore the baggy sweats and tired face.) Here I am at 7 months.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone!

I LOVE the video. It is the perfect image/feel of Christmas. The music, the cute little tree, the adorable little candy cane-faced girl dancing around. Very cute.

What are you apologizing for? I think I look rather dashing...
