We had a really fun Easter this year. One of the many advantages to living close to the in-laws is that we get in on all their fun celebrations like the egg hunt and the amazing Easter dinner. Also I absolutely love being able to watch conference in the comfort of our own home! It's so nice that we don't have to get all dressed up and go in to the the church these days.
Anyway, Saturday we had an egg hunt up at the in-laws beautiful property. Even though it was a yucky, rainy, cold day, the rain held out until we were done with our picnic lunch and egg hunt. How nice. Juliann loved looking for eggs. She was actually very good at it. She would shake the eggs like a rattle over and over until she found out what was inside and then tried to figure out ways to open them.
Reaching... Reaching...
So Proud
Sunday we hung out at our place to watch conference and then headed over to the in-laws for a delicious Easter dinner and my own weak little contribution of strawberry shortcake for dessert. (Even though it's weak, it's one of my favorite desserts. I was happy.)
We did a little Easter basket for Juliann. She wasn't as interested as we had hoped, but it was still cute to watch her check it out.
What a fun weekend.
