Jackson Turns Two

We celebrated little man's birthday on the 24th with family, cake, candles and way too many presents. In some ways it feels like he should have been two a long time ago, but in other ways it seems like it was yesterday that he was a super pudgy, bald little newborn entering our family.
He is a sweet boy who loves to be funny. He loves all things that little boys do like trucks, motorcycles, dirt, being loud, playing outside and wrestling with Daddy. He loves his big sister and they get along pretty well most of the time. They like to play and laugh together. He loves to eat any and everything and a lot of it. Just the other day he finally figured out how to pedal Juliann's tricycle. He thinks it is the coolest thing in the world, especially since he figured it out almost completely on his own. He makes us laugh every day with his silly faces and games. We love him so much!
Here are a million pictures of him in no particular order:

This is soon after he fell down the front porch steps and landed on his nose on the sidewalk.

I love this picture of him. He has walked around like this basically ever since he could walk. My Dad says he walked like this too when he was little. I think it's so cute.

This is a couple months ago after he jumped off some play equipment at the park and hit his chin on the way down.

Jackson sleeps like this all the time. Under his pillow.

I love the bird picture! If he was really a bird, that's exactly what he'd look like!

He is such a goober. I love it. And the picture of him walking with his hands behind his back should be black and white and in some fancy photography something. So pensive.

I really LOVE the pictures! When I saw the one of Jackson walking with his hands behind his back, I immediately thought of your dad, Currie. Then I read your comment below that mentioned that Currie walked like that too. Did your dad also tell you that HIS grandpa Currie Mell (the first) also walked like that?? I can still see it in my mind! I have a hat that Grandpa Currie (we called him little Grandpa) used to wear. It is so incredibly small. I also have a belt he used to wear. It looks like it would fit a child. I had never realized that something like a "walk" could be inherit in the genes. Cool to know - xo xo xo xo xo --aunt kathy
