He's still the sweetest little baby I could ever imagine, although he makes up for that by the fact that he only takes 30 minute naps. He loves to smile and show off that adorable dimple in his right cheek and he's still happy to let anybody hold him. (I think Juliann stopped that at about 2 months).
Jackson is an expert at eating solids now. He chows down his rice cereal like an old pro every night. He's also tried all kinds of baby food and so far eats all of them, including the green beans! Woo hoo! His favorites are sweet potatoes and pears.
His talents include life-like impressions of birds, velociraptors and zombies. He is also an expert at buzzing his lips, grabbing his feet, and melting his mommy's heart. He loves his big sissy and laughs and smiles at things she does. He could watch her play all day long and be happy. He's up to 17 and a half pounds now. You can tell from the pictures he's definitely a little on the chunky side, but so far he's also a shorty. We'll see if that changes. With out question he lives up to the nickname given by his Grandpa Mitchell, "Happy Jack."
This video shows him doing his fake laugh/whine he starts doing when he's getting tired. He cries until he realizes he has someone's attention, and then he starts doing this:
Here's a video from when we went berry picking this summer. He tried his first strawberry.
