Georgia Family Reunion- Part 1 & 2

We got to go to Georgia to visit my family over the Fourth of July! It was a blast! Everyone was able to make it except for my oldest sister and her family. We missed her, but she's due to have a baby very soon, so she had a pretty good excuse not to come. We stayed for about two weeks and took a million pictures. I am overwhelmed at the idea of having to blog about the whole trip, so I'm stealing my sister's idea and breaking it up into parts.

First, blueberry picking day:

Even though we got there pretty early in the morning it was already really hot, and humid, but these little rascals didn't seem to mind. They were in heaven.

Juliann's adorable cousin Bryn:

Dad/Gramps:

Two of my beautiful and hilarious sisters, Megan and Brianna:

The goods:

And oh man they were good! (Not as big and juicy as Oregon's blueberries, but still darn good.)

Part 2: Peking- The best Chinese Restaurant in the world.

I used to love Chinese food, but then I got pregnant and somehow still to this day I rarely feel in the mood for Chinese food. (I think it may also have had something to do with too many dirty, cheap and nasty Chinese buffets over the married years.) Nonetheless, poor Doug rarely gets his Chinese fix unless we go to Georgia. In Athens is the greatest Chinese restaurant ever. Honestly I'm not sure what makes it so good, but nothing even comes close to comparing. The whole fam headed there for dinner one night and ate to our heart's content.
