I am really far behind on updating the blog, but desperately trying to get caught up. Doug's birthday was a month ago, here it is:
Doug is 29 now! His last year of twenties has officially begun. He had to work all day, even longer than usual but after he was home, it was party time. Doug's parents came up and watched the kids while we went to Red Robin for his free birthday burger. (Man, I love that place.) Then we came home for some delicious chocolate and berry cake. We've realized that Juliann loves other people's birthdays just as much as she likes her own. She was so excited days in advance as we wrapped and hid his presents. She practiced singing "happy, happy" weeks before his birthday got here.

Props to Doug -- I have never seen a more efficient blowing out of the candles. And Juliann is sooooo cute! Love you guys.
I failed to also comment on that FANTABULOUS cake!! I need one in my life.
