Catching Up
It's been a while since I've posted. Jackson is 5 weeks old now and I feel like things are kind of, maybe, hopefully(?) seeming normal. He is still a pretty good baby although he's realized that he would much rather be held than lay down by himself. He's also still rolling over almost every time we put him on his stomach. Our pediatrician said maybe he'll be the next Babe Ruth. :) Doug thinks he'll be the next Jimmer Fredette. It is definitely more than double the work having two kids. I am endlessly busy now and usually stressing that I don't spend enough time with each kid, especially Juliann who was used to having my full attention. She seems to be a little more adjusted to having another little rascal around the house. She's more comfortable with him and sometimes I'll find her holding his hand or giving him pretend lotion or chapstick. It's sweet. Hopefully she'll continue to love him more and more as he is able to interact with her more. Last week was the much needed Spring Break. Doug was home every day of the week and we got to spend some quality family time together. It pretty much rained all week (surprise, surprise), but we managed to go on some fun outings. The highlight of the week for Juliann was probably the carousel, or as she calls it, the "high, low." She loves loves loves this thing!
This is what Jackson looked like the whole time we were at the High Low:
My sweet little angels:
Here's a picture from today of Jackson. We are grateful that he's finally getting over his horrible case of baby acne.
I love these feet:

I love this!! Jackson is quite the handsome young fellow. And wow - those cheeks. It's a good thing I'm not there. I'd be the annoying cheek-pinching aunt. And I love the Q-tip picture of Juliann. You have got the cutest kids. Come visit.
