Jam!

So you know that we went berry picking not long ago, what you don't know is that we've gone three times in about three weeks. We have berries out the wazoo. (Yes, I mean that.) Our freezer was jam-packed and then we went berry picking again. We like picking the berries, we just aren't very good at figuring out what to do with them afterwards. So, thanks to my fabulous, talented mother-in-law + two emergency trips to the grocery store for my unorganized self + three different jam recipes + LOTS of sugar and pectin, we now have 17 pints of jam and two tupperwares full of freezer jam, (because I ran out of jars). They are beautiful if I may say so. They even all sealed except for one. My first jam making experience turned out to be a success. A million thanks to Mom Mitchell for her perfect knowledge and experience. I couldn't have done it without her.
