Four Years and Counting

Yesterday was our four year anniversary. We both feel like four years really sounds like a good, solid, long time and we both in some ways feel like it's flown by but also somehow been way longer than just four years.
We celebrated it on Tuesday because our number one babysitter, (Doug's mom) was planning on leaving town on Wednesday. We went to our favorite restaurant and FINALLY saw Inception. (We had heard so much about it, and it lived up to the rumors. It was great.)
We also celebrated it on Wednesday by staying home and cooking a unbelievably delicious dinner together, and then I surprised Doug with an awesome dessert. I must take a moment to brag on myself, because this was the first time I have ever in my life bought and cooked with mushrooms or real garlic. I was very proud. It was also the first time I have ever attempted to make a dessert other than cookies, brownies or cake from a box. I think it turned out pretty darn good.

We consider four years quite a feat and even more that we're still pretty much in love.

Are those fatty rasberries, or something else!?! Whatever they are, they look scrumptious! For my B-day I want one of those!
