It's the most wonderful time of the year...

I would have to say that Christmas time with a little one is much more fun than Christmas with just the two of us as great as that is too. We had a wonderful time this year. We visited with Doug's family and stayed the night on Christmas eve. We had the traditional and delicious Shepherd's pie for dinner followed by the always competitive rice pudding that usually just holds one almond, but this year held an even better surprise. Doug's brother Ben proposed to his girlfriend Dawn with an engagement ring hidden in her dessert. It was awesome to be there to see that. Congratulations you two!

Here is a look at some of our Christmas:

Perhaps most important of all, we have a new little nephew. My sister Amber brought sweet little Jarett to the world on December 21st. Hopefully it won't be too long before we get to see him in person.

Here's Juliann holding what she got in her stocking from Santa Claus. How did he know that Jujube is also her nickname?!?! Mommy and Daddy got to eat them for her. Note the adorable bunny slippers from Grandma.

This was definitely Juliann's favorite part of Christmas:

Juliann was spoiled by mommy and daddy, grandparents and aunts and uncles for Christmas. Here are a few of the things she got:

Can you tell that she likes her new jumper just a little?

I hope everyone had a great Christmas. We missed those that we weren't around, including my family back in Georgia. Hopefully next year we'll be seeing you!
