Yesterday, Doug and I had the amazing opportunity to visit our brand new niece, Bryn Annalee, my sister Michelle, and her husband and little boy in the hospital. She wasn't due for about another month, but I think she knew her Auntie Shauna just had to see her before we made the big move to Oregon. Even though she was a little early, she is healthy and seems to be doing great. The amazing thing for me was to compare her to Juliann. She looked massive compared to teeny little Bryn. My little girl is definitely not a newborn anymore! It's kind of sad, but in a way it's nice to be past that. It was an amazing experience to come and visit and see such a brand new little one especially now that I know what Michelle has just gone through and is going through. I am so so so glad I got to meet her!

(Juliann was really grumpy the whole time we were there until Doug finally got her to fall asleep... nice)

Okay, I have two comments. First of all, Shauna, I love your haircut!! Secondly, when I first glimpsed the picture of sleeping Juliann next to Bryn, I honestly thought someone had wrapped Doug in a blanket and put a pacifier in his mouth. She looks JUST like him in that one. It was hilarious.
