Daddy's Girl

With Father's Day and also Doug's birthday being in the recent past, I thought it was very fitting to do a little post about a wonderful Dad. What would I ever do with out him? Ever since Juliann was born, she has easily gotten him wrapped around her little finger. He absolutely adores her. Every day when he gets home from work, he is so excited to see her and hold her, and always sad to leave her when he has to go back. He is definitely the fun one of the both of us and plays and plays with her until I think she's beyond tired, but still smiling. She definitely knows who her Daddy is. And some days when I've been fighting her to stop crying and take a nap all afternoon, Daddy comes home and she is instantly happy. He's so good with her. I'm sure it has something to do with being the oldest of 8 kids and having great parents, but whatever it is, I'm glad he is the way he is.
