Easter and Trip to Washington

We took a road trip for Easter! We drove with Doug's parents up to Washington to celebrate his Grandma's birthday and see his aunts, uncles and cousins up there before we move. (Oh yeah, we're moving for those who didn't know. We'll put that in another post...)

We left the Friday before Easter. Six hours later and two restless kids later, we made it to Moses Lake to visit Doug's fabulous Aunt Leslie and Uncle Corby. They have one of the most beautiful and comfortable homes we have ever stayed in. I took a shower in the nicest shower I have ever been in and now I want one, real bad. We had a great time! Juliann was incredibly excited for the Easter egg hunt and I think it lived up to her expectations:

Jackson made a new little friend. They struck up a nice deal- The puppy let Jackson "pet" him as long as Jackson let him chew on his shoe. They were both happy for a while:

Saturday afternoon we left Moses Lake and headed to Richland to visit Doug's Uncle Hugh and Teresa and their sweet kids. We had a great time with them. Doug kept everyone's rapt attention with his ipad.
