In a few of the pictures you can see his "smile" for the camera face. (Like the bottom left, and the picture with Juliann.) I love it.
Here's a video of the cake part. Mostly for the family far far away who missed it.
Now for a little bit about our Jackson:
He's the sweetest little guy a family could ask for. Full of room brightening smiles, laughs and cuddles. He loves his mama and he "runs" (as fast as possible) over to his daddy whenever he gets home. He also loves his big sister very much. They play games together and sometimes they even share! Their favorite thing to do together is play hide and seek under the kitchen sink. (Although it's not my favorite thing for them to do, especially when I'm in the middle of doing dishes or making supper, I absolutely love seeing them play together.)
He is a definitely a boy, through and through. He currently has a rainbow of bruises on his forehead and cheek. He hits his head at least once a day and gets new bruises. I know it is only a matter of time before we see broken bones or something that needs stitches. He loves to wrestle with and be tickled by his daddy, bang on anything that makes a loud noise, and he loves to not have his clothes on.
He is also quite the mischief maker. He does things now that Juliann didn't figure out until she was two. One of his favorite things to do is sneak into the bathroom and unroll the whole roll of toilet paper onto the floor. Another thing he loves is to flush the toilet. Again, and again, and again while I'm fixing Juliann's hair or brushing her teeth. He has also been known to crawl in and out of the bath tub and pull all the books off the bookshelf in a few quick movements.
Jackson also loves to eat. He will eat anything and everything we put in front of him. And he is a bottomless pit so he doesn't stop eating until we stop feeding him. (Totally opposite of his sister.) He also has the cutest little pot-belly you will ever see.
He loves people. (Again opposite of Juliann when she was his age.) He will roam off any chance he gets and wander up to someone and put his hands on their lap and stare at them. He is not concerned about keeping his mama in eye-sight wherever we go. He just sees a chance and takes off. He loves babies. He loves to stare at them and touch their toes and give them "kisses." He's quite the outgoing little guy.
He is already starting to understand a lot and speak a few words. He is starting to like to read some simple books. He will look for, and point to the light when you ask him where it is. Same with flowers, his drink, snacks, shoes, dogs, and the moon. He can say: more, bye bye, ball, mama, and some other things I can't think of right now. He has six and a half teeth. He loves music and dancing. That boy's got some serious rhythm in his soul. He also likes to see the picture on our camera after we take it.
Overall, we love this little guy and we're so thankful he's in our family.

What is it with little boys and the rolls of toilet paper??? Mine does that too- and the flushing thing! Your kids are beautiful and I know how wonderful/heartbreaking it is to watch babies grow up.
