Didn't know what I was missing

Juliann continues to grow bigger and get older at an amazing speed. She loves meal time, though it's usually only for about two minutes and then she gets sick of it, but nonetheless, it's something there's no way around. She has to eat. This is not so good when you're the one who has to sing songs the WHOLE time for distraction purposes, or try to think of different modes of transportation that make interesting sounds. She likes the train, airplane, boat, and big truck in reverse is her favorite. (By the way, if anyone else can think of any others, I would love more suggestions because she gets sick of these four and I can't really think of any other noises that don't all sound like the airplane.)

So up until about a week ago, she has been eating in her Bumbo seat. I LOVE her Bumbo and it has served our purposes very well, but it was definitely time to move on to a high chair. I had been stalking Craigslist diligently for about a month when I finally came across a cheap one that didn't look like it was fifty years old. The people that were selling it even said they were using the money to save up to adopt a kid with HIV from Ethopia. It was perfect. So after a good scrubbing down, she is using it three times a day, every day and we both love it. It saves me doing so much laundry because she doesn't get her grubby hands all over her pants and socks now. (She still gets them in her hair, but we will work on that.)

So long story short, I love our high chair.

Just a side note. I think Bumbo is a hilarious word.
