Lots To Catch Up On

Oh man. It's been a while since I've updated the blog. There has been a lot going on. Thanksgiving was great. We went up to Doug's Aunt and Uncle's house in Moses Lake, Washington and we had a great time. Doug was studying his brains out the whole time, so it wasn't much of a break for him, but he was able to lay the books aside long enough to take his wifey out on a date to see "New Moon." It wasn't the greatest movie in our opinion, but it was fun to go out together with out the munchkin. Thanks to Grandma for watching her for us!

In other news, Doug's first law school finals have officially begun. He's half way done right now and has two more this week. He can be found 95% of his waking hours at the library usually. Once he's done though, we get him for a whole MONTH with no school! We're very excited about that.

We have also gotten a visit from an unwelcome bug. The cold bug. Doug got it first, then me, then Juliann. It hasn't been too bad, but it's so hard for me to hear my poor little baby snorting and sniffling and see her with a runny nose. No fun. We'll be glad when that's out of here.

The day after Thanksgiving we went to a huge Christmas tree farm and looked around for the perfect tree. It was so much fun and brought back so many memories of Christmas tree hunting in Georgia with my family. I left Juliann's cute little hat at home on accident, so she had to wear a huge one. She didn't seem to mind though. She was happy sucking on her "mitten" the whole time until it was soaking wet and frozen.

We found a great tree, but not until after we saw this!



Juliann is doing great (other than getting over her cold). She is loving the rice cereal. I've started putting a tiny taste of baby food in her supper now. She loves sweet potatoes and green beans so far. (Yay!) It's a lot of fun to be able to feed her real food.

She is defintely a talker. I wonder who she got that from. (Hint, not me). She also loves to sing. Here is a little video of that:
