How do you catch a cloud and pin it down?...

On The Sound of Music there is a song the nuns sing about, "How do you Solve a Problem like Maria?" For some reason, I've had this song stuck in my head for about the last three days. The chorus asks some questions something like this:

"How do you solve a problem like Maria?
How do you catch a cloud and pin it down?
How do you keep a wave upon the sand?
How do you hold a moonbeam in your hand?"

Don't ask me why this song has been stuck in my head. (I haven't seen that movie in a super super long time). Anyways, as I was snarfing down my cereal this morning staring out into the thick Oregon fog, this is what I saw... (Look on the end of that long branch at the top. You might need to click on it to see it)

I don't know if it was because of the incessant melody that's been floating around in my brain for the past three days or last night's sleep still wearing off, but considering all the fog, my first thought was that it was a little piece of cloud that got stuck on the tree. I was (and am) totally entranced by this idea and I stared and stared for a long time. Then I starting taking pictures because I knew Doug would just say I was crazy.
It was upon further examination of the pictures that I realized, I think it's actually a spider web. But still, I thought it was neat enough to share. :)
