August 18th was our 3 year anniversary. In some ways it seems like these last 3 years have flown by, but in other ways it seems like we have been married our whole lives. I definitely do not consider us newlyweds anymore, and research shows that the first 7 years are usually the hardest to make it through, and we're pretty much almost half way there and doing fine. :)Doug got me these beautiful roses and some delicious chocolate. We dropped Juliann off at the In-laws and went out to dinner to one of our favorite restaurants, Ruby Tuesday. (They have the greatest salad bar known to man). I was nervous the whole time that Juliann was inconsolably screaming her head off, but she actually ended up doing great. She even got to stay up past her bed time playing and showing off.
We had a great day and it was fun to think back to the wedding and when we were dating and see how far we've come.
